  • Black PE3408/4710 Butt Fusion End
  • Can be joined using butt fusion, electrofusion, socket fusion or constab type fittings
  • Conforms to ASTM D2512 Category 1

 

Transition Fittings are used to transition from steel pipe to polyethylene pipe. These transitions are used for natural gas distribution, LPG and propane gas distribution, and yard gas systems.

  • Transition Fittings are designed to join pipe meeting ASTM D2513
  • Category 1 mechanical joint
  • Pressure rating 125 psig
  • Transition Fittings meet ASTM F1973 “Standard Specification for Factory Assembled Anodeless Risers and Transition Fittings in Polyethylene (PE) Fuel Gas Distribution Systems”
  • Size Range — ½” to 2”
  • Available with 2406/2708 or 3408/4710 PE pipe
  • Zinc Plated for corrosion resistance
  • Available with factory installed Con-Stab ID Seal® coupling
  • Meets NFPA 58 and NFPA 54
  • Third party tested to Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) & CSA
